Giving Back: Volunteering with Facing Hunger Foodbank

Supporting Our Communities

At Thoroughbred Express Auto Wash, we’re passionate about making a difference both inside and outside of our wash bays. Our team recently spent time volunteering with Facing Hunger Food bank, an incredible organization dedicated to serving individuals and families across West Virginia, Eastern Kentucky, and Ohio.

A Meaningful Partnership

This isn’t the first time we’ve partnered with Facing Hunger Food bank — our team has supported this organization several times in the past, contributing a total of 18 volunteer hours to date. Each experience reinforces just how meaningful their work is to the communities they serve, and we’re proud to continue being a part of it.

Packing Meals, Spreading Hope

During this visit, our team members worked together to pack essential food items into boxes for distribution. Each box included staples such as cereal, milk, rice, beans, and canned goods, providing enough to supply several days’ worth of meals for individuals and families in need. In addition to packing, our volunteers also helped assemble empty boxes to ensure a continuous flow of supplies throughout the day.

Thanks to everyone’s collective efforts, our team helped provide an impressive 14,583 meals in a single day — a testament to what teamwork and community spirit can accomplish.
