PM Checklist (Russellville)

Conveyor Checklist

Inspect Roller Up area for proper operation, specifically fork alignment, and freedom of travel at the take-up section. *
Remove take-up grate and inspect clear air lines feeding into black conveyor shocks (2) for any air leaks *
Check for hydraulic oil leaks around silver fittings feeding into drive motor and speed reducer at drive section at exit of tunnel. Make sure E-STOP is activated! *
Check for sprocket alignment and sprocket wear at both take-up & drive sections. Forks should be perfectly centered on chain and stay this way while running. *
Wipe excess dirt and grime off the take-up slides with a clean rag *
Grease take-up shaft bearings with 1-2 pumps per grease zerk using Marine Grease (blue colored) *
Check the chain tension bolt, if less than 1” remove a chain link *
Check the position of the carriage on the slide tube, if there is less than ½” between the carriage and split collar a link should be removed *
Spray lubricant (white lithium grease) on the air cylinder rod end and clevis. *

Entrance Wrap-A-Round Brushes

Inspect the Spring Flex Couplings for secure mounting and freedom of movement and grease the spring flex couplings universal joints as required. *

Grease the brush shaft four bolt flange bearings. Do not allow grease to come in contact with brush cloth *
Check Condition of ALL (4) rubber bump stops *
Check shocks functionality and make sure they have not gone bad by pulling to center and releasing. Wrap should return smoothly. *
Inspect air cylinders for functionality (Pull wrap to center and release) *
Inspect air lines feeding into air cylinders for any air leaks *
