Toy & Coat Drive Results
From November 15th through December 7th, we collected new, unwrapped toys and gently used coats at select Thoroughbred Express locations. For every toy and coat donated, we pledged to contribute $5 to One Simple Wish. Thanks to your contributions, we were able to donate over 100 toys and coats to local communities.

Our Donation to One Simple Wish
In addition to the $5 donation per item collected during the drive, Thoroughbred Express made an initial contribution of $2,500 to One Simple Wish when we first created the fund. Following the drive, we donated $1,500 from the proceeds of the Toy & Coat Drive to One Simple Wish.
What is the One Simple Wish?
One Simple Wish is a nonprofit organization that has been granting wishes and providing much-needed support to children and young adults in the foster care system since 2008. Founded by Danielle Gletow, this incredible organization makes it possible for anyone to help fulfill the wishes of foster children, at-risk youth, and those who have aged out of the system
The wishes range from essential items like clothing and school supplies to special gifts like toys, electronics, and even unique experiences, such as attending a sports event. By making these wishes come true, the One Simple Wish Foundation brings a sense of love, hope, and joy into the lives of young people who need it most.
